Rousseau has made great products for years and still builds quality and it's made in the USA. If your like me and most "Older" capenters you work alone most of the time and if you add the "Leg Up" [new product] you can handle almost any materials. I've been waiting for this to come out for the DeWalt 745 saw, I had the old style for a Makita and it was the perfect stand for true custom carpentry on site. This stand with the outfeed table sold as a seprate item will make it possible to cut all sheet goods you come up against. The price is still a bite high, but well worth the cost, the only issue I had to give it a 4 star was when it arrived the box must have been dropped the side table was broken loose from the frame, easy fix by rotating the piece 180 and reattaching it.
This table doesn't come with such a thing. The table also doesn't have any wheels so moving it can take a bit, but I'm going to install my own two wheels on mine soon so I can just lift and roll.The table folds up, but be sure to remove your saw before you do so as it rests in the table via gravity.In summary, I would recommend this as a good solution, but I'm hoping the future models will remedy the previously mentioned flaws. (although I'm going to put more scratches in it anyway so I don't mind at all). Also, there were minor imperfections in the paint job. The table top is flush with the saw's table, and I know my DeWalt doesn't have the greatest fence (read the reviews), but no worries because the fence on this Table Stand is all you need.I only have four complaints about this table and it's the condition it arrived in. Well, I guess the most important part about this Table Saw stand is that it fits my DeWalt 745 seamlessly. The ends of the table top bars have caps and they were all busted in, (not in a way that shipping could have damaged it) my guess is that during manufacturing they just pressed them in too hard (but I don't really care that much to return it for another one). Finally, the table is a bit wabbley, now I could go ahead and blame my garage floor for that, but most working tables come with one leg adjustable to remedy this.
I have the outfeed table also and slide it to the router or table saw as required. Brings shop productivity to the worksite. Light enough to carry in one hand when folded. You can adjust the fence to be exactly parrallel to the blade. The saw hangs on hooks,so you don't have to adjust the plastic spacers as on the old Rousseau tables. This stand is wonderful. Everything lines up well. I mounted a router plate in the side table.
